In his book, Dad wrote: "My brother, Eugene at Cheyenne, Wy. where he was in the U.S. Cavalry."
There is writing on the back of the photo which I believe was written by Eugene. It says: "This is the position of Carry Saber as when standing at attention dismounted with saber withdrawn."
