"I took all the school [Victor] teachers with me out to the Stevens ranch after a load of hay. Top to bottom, Wanda Daines, Elva Henry, Zina Kunz, Dorothy Grow, Karl Stuart and myself. I had a big crew but it took me a long time to get loaded. Winter 1931-32."
