"A scene from the U. of I. production of "Night Over Taos". Montoya (Eldred Stephensen) has just killed on of his sons with the knife he holds in his hands. Burnell Baker, John Daley and I are the Ricos. We had a great time working up our "conflict". Malcom Renfrew is the monk, "Martinez". Don Tracy is "Felipe", a son of Montoya. Murva James is "Diana", the sweetheart of the show. Marion Swanson is "Josefa", Montoya's wife and the girls on the steps are Aline King "Nuna" and Barbara Walker "Raquel". This was my first show at Moscow. March 29, 1935."
