We won the B.L French scholarship cup awarded to the group house having the highest average in grades on the U. of I. campus. We won it three years in successiion, thus entitling us to a permanent ownership. Our last grade or average was 5.2 or better than a B. (Dec. 1934)." [Wonder what the grading system was then that a 5.2 was better than a B as opposed to what we today would expect for a 3.2?]
